At Ranido, we are not just researchers; we are architects of the entire catalyst lifecycle—from the tests in our lab to the scale-up and final production in our plant in Karlovy Vary. We are looking for an R&D Project Manager to join Pavel’s project management team.

 

Meet Your Future Team

  • Pavel (Your Manager): Will give you the autonomy to lead and the trust to make decisions, while providing strategic mentorship.
  • Johanka & Vojta (Your Peers): Your partners in the R&D department. We are a small team where transparency, support, and “ownership” are our core values.

 

Your Mission at Ranido

  • Project Management (Grant & Contract Research): You will be the lead PM for both Czech (national) and European research projects. You’ll keep track of milestones, budgets, and reporting, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Commercialization of Catalysts: You will actively look for ways to turn our laboratory’s catalyst findings into commercial successes (scale-up).
  • Selling R&D Services: You will be the face of our R&D laboratory, presenting our research capabilities to potential partners and securing new contract research opportunities.
  • From Lab to Scale-up: You will guide projects through the crucial transition from small-scale laboratory experiments to industrial scale-up.

 

Who Are You?

  • Proven Project Manager: You have experience in managing complex projects (ideally R&D, European grants, or technical projects). You are systematic, organized, and you “own” your deadlines.
  • Chemical Background: You hold a degree in Chemistry or a related field.
  • A “Business-Minded” Scientist: You enjoy the challenge of finding a market for a great idea. You can identify opportunities and present technical value with confidence.
  • Hungry to Learn: You don’t need to be a catalysis expert yet—we will teach you the specifics. You just need the technical foundation and the drive to grow.
  • Global Communicator: Your English is excellent (essential for European projects). You are open to occasional travel to meet partners (approx. 2x a year).
