Education and expertise

  • Knowledge of process engineering principles, production optimization and implementation of technological innovations.
  • Orientation in Lean, Six Sigma, TPM or other continuous improvement tools.
  • Experience with manufacturing data analysis and interpretation of results.
  • Ability to work with technical documentation and design electrical installations.
  • Experience with drawing schematics in AutoCAD (or other CAD software) an asset.
  • Ideally an electrical engineering degree (high school/university) with a valid license to work on electrical installations.

Hands-on experience

  • Experience in implementing technological changes and process improvements.
  • Ability to work with different departments (production, maintenance, quality, R&D)
  • Experience in selecting and implementing new technologies and equipment is welcome.
  • Experience in a similar position in a manufacturing company an advantage.
  • Experience with selecting external suppliers and purchasing services such as manufacturing equipment, assembly, service, etc.

  • Organizational and communication skills, team player.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, initiative.
  • Responsibility, diligence and attention to quality and safety of work.
  • Ability to negotiate with suppliers and seek optimal solutions in terms of quality, price and deadlines.

Other requirements

  • Active knowledge of PC work (MS Office, ERP systems preferably).
  • Ability to communicate in English (at least at the level of reading technical documentation).
  • Willingness to learn new things and develop professional knowledge.
  • Driving licence category B
